Fractions on the number line By Melissa

Mars.png
Walt: Position fractions on the number line

In this game you have to put the fraction onto the number line in the right position. I found this game a bit difficult and easy because they were mostly improper fractions. But then I got the hang of it and the fractions became easier. Next I would like to learn about algebra.

Learning about Fractions by Melissa

Dom and Dick.png
Walt: Play a Fractions game.

This game helps us to work out fraction sums. I found this game easy  because I was on Level 1 and because our teacher already taught us how to do this. In this game you have to make the denominator all the same. Next time I play a game I want it to be a game that teaches us about Algebra and I want to learn more about Geometry.

Reflections - Basic Facts By Melissa

Reflections Basic Facts

For my Basic facts assessment 2, stage 6 I've got a score of 572. I done well on arranging numbers biggest to small, multiplication, addition, subtraction and also division. I didn't finish answering all the questions but I have a fair result. I need to improve on my place value and get faster at it because that took time for me. To improve I will need to practise more on my place value and also my greater than, less than and is equal to symbols. Next time I have a basic fact test I would like to get 100% and in all my other tests I would like to get all the answers correct too.

I would rather be a Sun, By Melissa

I would rather be?

If I had to chose between being a Sun or a moon, I would chose to be a Sun.

Being a Sun would make me feel happy and free. I wouldn't have to pay for anything or be teased about my looks. I'll shine bright and be warm. I would come out in the day and I will never leave my place because the Sun stays in one spot. But the best part of being a Sun is knowing that you shine on people and make them happy. Also being the biggest star in the whole entire universe would make me happy.

So that is why I would rather be a Sun than a Moon. So I make people happy, myself happy, being warm and shining bright.
